Who I am

I am a highly motivated, creative, and collaborative student at Chapman University's Dodge College, studying Film & TV Production with an emphasis on editing. Growing up inspired by every detail, from conception to post-production of movies and TV shows, it became my passion at an early age. I evolved from creating videos with my sister to becoming a Certified Avid Media Composer Specialist, proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Procreate, Microsoft Suites, First Draft, Photoshop, and Google Suites and Colab. With an interest in global production, I studied AI, focusing on the TV & film industry in Seoul, South Korea.

Currently, I serve as a production intern, editing and assisting in creating innovative trailers and campaigns for various media networks. Using my entrepreneurial spirit, I formed "Anna Tessendorf Films," a freelance company that produces and edits videos and thumbnails in Photoshop for companies and non-profit organizations to bring life to their social media channels, increase awareness, and engage. Additionally, my videos have been used for educational and fundraising purposes. I was also a Film Outreach Intern, managing the scripts and operating electrical equipment to ensure the quality of the B-roll and interviews. I’ve served as a First Assistant Director, Digital Image Technician, Unit Production Manager, Grip and Electric Swing, and Audio Assistant for various student films, including two Dodge Thesis films and four AP short films. These experiences have allowed me to develop a strong technical skillset and skills in script coverage, organization, research, collaboration, and production management. I am also a member of Chapman's Women in Film and Alpha Chi Omega.
